8”x10” Original, Acrylic and Plaster of Paris on Canvas
The ‘King of the Mountain’ is a Mountain Sheep Ram layered in pinks and purples that standout against the snowy mountain background. The bold colors mirror the strength and stoicism of the rams that rule the mountains. This King’s horn was created with Plaster of Paris to add a three dimensional aspect to the painting and to portray the power of the ram.

“Sanctuary A.T. Desert Bluffs” highlights the mid modern architecture of a Texas home by Alfred T. Gilman. In this painting the lines of the entryway are used to create contrasting sharp lines against the soft curves of desert rocks and cacti. The blues and pinks compliment the landscape but also give the viewer’s eyes a break, or dare I say sanctuary, from the oranges and browns of the desert.
The cacti are texturized and extend off the canvas to a depth of about one half inch. The three dimensional cacti create natural shadows on the painting and allow the painting to transform as the viewers point of view changes.

24” x 30” Original Acrylic and Plaster of Paris on Canvas, Custom framed to 26” x 32”
This painting explores contrast in color, texture and shapes with the contrast of the pink against the deep earth tones and the way the stream and plants are moving and growing around the angular awning. The contrasting elements force your eye to move around the painting and the unexpected elements create tension in an otherwise serene scene.
“Tranquility A.T. Sullivan Canyon” features a half inch thick texturized and three dimensional water fall that pops off the canvas and gives the viewer a unique view as they move around the painting.
